Hey!

This is what Cabin Noise is all about —>

Cabin Noise is an outlet to highlight the music that drives community, from the backyard scene to the festival stage.

Cabin Noise is a landing spot for all music lovers. We have long mourned the loss of the vibrant house show scene that dominated the 2010s—yes, it still exists, but it’s undeniable the pandemic did a number on it—and are hoping to inject the spirit of that community into this space. Cabin Noise is a music magazine first and foremost: a place for reviews, show and festival coverage, playlists, interviews, and eventually programming and live shows. The launch of Cabin Noise includes writing and photography from Meredith Mattlin, Ayden Eilmus, Jess Ford, and Chris Augustinos.

Beyond that, the goal is to cultivate a sense of community: in addition to reviews across all genres, Cabin Noise aims to highlight the scene, wherever it may be, in the places where its readers and contributors live. A concerted effort to focus on music that you hear and think, how are these people not famous yet? In order to highlight up-and-coming artists without the intrusion of AI or algorithms and whatnot, the Cabin Noise inbox is open for you to send in your music for a potential review. Show us what ya got by emailing streaming links or files to editor@cabinnoise.org with the subject line “music submission,” or DM us on instagram.

Happy reading!
